DESIGN

I can imagine the creation and the realization of your stage costumes, historical or contemporary, male or female, made to measure. The creation is done after reading the text to be staged and after discussion on the universe of your show. I will then be able to propose you models of costumes for your characters. If you already have models, I can take care of the sole realization and bring your drawings to life. Together, we will make the costume evolve so that it corresponds as well as possible to your needs.

REALISATION

Then comes the realisation: taking measurements of the actors, drawing the pattern, cutting the fabric and assembling the costume, fittings and finishing. Always ready for new experiences, I use other techniques than sewing, such as plastazote, foam, resin, gummed canvas, leather, cardboard… I also create hats, small accessories and small elements of decor. Depending on your needs, I can make the dressing up before and during the performance

COLLABORATION

I work in France (Toulouse and Paris), but also in Brussels and Germany. Our meetings can be held in French, German, English and soon in Dutch. Whatever your needs are, I can adapt to many different artistic universes (sober, baroque…) whether for opera, dance, circus, puppets, clowns, films and series, performances.

MY BACKGROUND

After a Diploma of Arts and Crafts in Costume Design in Sartrouville and a degree in Theatrical Studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, I worked for 4 years in the costume workshops of the Opera of Leipzig in Germany. Parallel to this job, I followed a training in cutting and tailoring validated by obtaining the German diploma “Meisterschneider”.
